You should really listen to the audio file first and then have a look at the movie file of this poem. How does image help to convet meaning. Is my interpretation of the poem enhanced in this format? Let me know what you think.

It was so cool hearing your accent. What language are you speaking? I like the way the sound effects make the poem more interesting and scary.

Thanks for your comments Thomas. The language is Scots and the author was renowned for writing in his native tongue. You may also wish to try ‘The Bonne Broukit Bairn’ by the same author.

Perhaps the movie version may be extremely valuable as a differentiated version of the audio file? Would it suppress a more reflective, creative and personally visualised response?
