Have a listen to ‘The Watergaw’ by Hugh MacDiarmid. This poem uses the watergaw (a rainbow) as a metaphor for life and death. What do you think of the poem and my interpretation of it.

    A superb and well-intoned rendition!
    I think the audio file allows the listener to construct their own visualisations in a more creative way than with the video. Is this important in language development?
